Acceptable Use Policy

Forbidden uses

• Discriminating against people or groups by origin, race, gender, religion, orientation, disability, political opinion or any other protected characteristic.
• Profiling, monitoring or surveilling specific people.
• Harassing, stalking, intimidating or exposing people.
• Trying to re-identify people from aggregated, masked or anonymized data.
• Scraping, bulk extraction or reconstruction of the lake tables, and reselling or redistributing the raw data.
• Getting around usage limits, credits or authentication; sharing keys to avoid limits; creating multiple accounts to get free credits.
• Attacking, overloading or security-testing the service without authorization.
• Any illegal purpose or one that violates others' rights.

What we encourage

Analysis, research, journalism, public policy, products and agents that use the data with source attribution, within the limits of your account.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations, limit keys, suspend or close accounts and, when required by law, notify authorities. For non-serious cases we warn you first and give you time to fix the issue.
