Why it exists

Brazil's public data is rich but scattered across dozens of portals, formats and conventions — and full of traps: municipality codes that change, republished files, renamed columns, errors at the source.

An AI agent fetching that data on its own tends to be wrong silently. lakebrasil does the curation once, with checks on every load, and serves the result over MCP with the source of every number.
